Meet sweet, little Aiden. He’s getting ready for a special day this weekend – his baptism. It will undoubtedly be a beautiful day. I caught a glimpse into the love that surrounds him the morning of his photo shoot. Had I thought quickly enough I would have photographed that too – his Mommy and Daddy, not one, but two Aunts, his Godmother and his little cousin – all full of love for him. He’s a lucky little guy. Blessings to you, Aiden!
Wow! The look back at the “Sweet Love” of 2011 was spectacular! Thanks so much to all who participated! Not only did I love seeing those precious little faces all in one album, but I was so touched by how many of my clients showed the love to other people’s pictures. First and second ran so closely, I was frantic at midnight to make sure I didn’t miss the final votes! Thanks again to the amazing families who welcome me in to their lives and grant me the opportunity to capture such beautiful moments.
1st Place – The Kelly Family
I love so much about this picture, from those beautiful, little girls to the sky on fire from the setting sun. My favorite little thing though, is the magic wand Mom holds in her left hand. I think it worked! :) The Kelly Family will receive a 16×20 gallery wrapped canvas of this image!
2nd Place – The Antonelli Family
I can’t get enough of the way these brothers look at one another in this picture. This was taken on a beautiful day last summer. From our brief visit that day, I can tell you, that the little guy really looks up to his big brother and for good reason! Such spectacular boys. And just for the record, they’ve got a beautiful sister too. I’m sure I’ll be sharing her gorgeous face at another time! The Antonelli Family will receive a $100 print credit!
3rd Place – The Collazo Family
What can I say? This image just sums up “sweet love”! I love everything about it, from that precious moment captured to those spectacular little boots! The Collazo Family will receive an 8×10 of this image!

I can’t think of a better way to introduce the Dani Dunn Photography Blog than on Valentine’s Day. After all, so much of my photography is about capturing the love, be it a child’s boisterous, knock you down hug or the gentle, thoughtful love in a mother’s eye. This last year has warmed my heart in so many ways and inspired me to share even more with you.
